Forest was a new follower and we struck up a conversation on one of my social media accounts. He told me his little sister Emilie loved my music and had shared it with him. A few days later I was crushed to hear that Emilie and her beloved dog had tragically died. I read more about Emilie and was so touched by her spirit. 

I felt a deep urge to pay tribute. And so, I recorded a heartfelt cover of "Can't Help Falling in Love." To encapsulate her life's moments, I paired the song with a slideshow filled with her memories for her grieving family.

When her family watched and listened, their hearts were touched. The piece resonated so deeply that they chose to feature it during Emilie's funeral service. Though I never had the chance to meet Emilie in person, I feel incredibly honored to have played a role, however small, in celebrating her life. This song stands as my tribute to a remarkable young soul. I hope it touches your heart as much as Emilie touched mine.
